During the Corfu workshop on Medical Physics and Bioengineering four main themes were discussed:
- Medical Imaging with Hybrid Devices (Day 1 and Day 2)
- Principles and Applications of Radiation Protection in Medicine (Mainly Day3 and Day 4)
- Research in Neurodegenerative Disease, where computing plays an important role (in Days 2, Day 3 & Day 4)
- Recent and important technical innovations (Hadrontherapie) already in progress or in future (Days 4 & Day 5)

As usual, the perfectly logical order of the project design was disrupted by the unavailability of some speakers: thus, the talk "International Safety Standards" (YL) was finally day 1,
  while the talk "reaction-diffusion models" (PV) was day 2 and the "cultural program in Achilleion" (Guide: Katrina) was day 4 because the weather forecast was excellent for that day.
